Studies on the Statistical Properties of Dissipative Systems
We investigate the behaviour of dissipative systems described by
a system of non-linear differential equations (flows). The statistical
behaviour of the dissipative systems is described by means of a probability
distribution function whose form is determined by the corresponding Liouville
Equation. For the Pitchfork Bifurcation Model the structure of the phase space
is investigated in terms of the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the
corresponding Liouville Equation.
