Studies on Random Walks and Diffusion Related Problems
In particular, analytic and numerical studies of random
walks with introduction of anisotropies in the velocity.
Points of interest are the evolution of the Probability Distribution
with the time and its moments, as well as the exact form of the First
Passage Probability Distribution. Analytical studies involve the use of
generating function techniques, whereas numerical studies are based on
both Monte-Carlo and Exact Enumeration techniques.
